Take That – Music Lovers

On Saturday 6th June a few of us had a trip to Sunderland to see Take That.

On arrival after one or two wrong turns! We booked into our hotel and headed off for some food followed by a few vino’s then set off in search of the Metro.

At first the queue did not seem too bad but after about 1½ hours we spotted Robert and his sister so of course we had to shout Hello. Luckily for him, he was able to walk straight in through another entrance. Ohhh if only!!!

By the time we got in to the stadium th
e first act ‘Gary Go’ had been and gone (I don’t think we missed much though). After settling into our spot some distance from the stage, on came The Saturdays – an excellent warm up to the main event. During the cross over between The Saturdays & Take That we were all singing along to Hey Jude and there were lots of Na na na na’s.

Finally, what we came for …….Take That.

Now if the Stadium had a roof they certainly would have raised it. The show started with a 15 foot high elephant. How Jamie & Melissa missed th
is I will never know! There was a good mix of songs old and new and we never stopped singing and dancing – well maybe just when we went for more drinks! What a show, there was everything you would expect from a circus theme & more.

Back for goo
d? Oh Yes!

All in all a very enjoyable time.
If you get a chance go and see them I don’t think you will be disappointed.
