Celebrating our 10th Anniversary
March 2007 marked a special occasion for the firm – 10 years in business!

It’s hard to believe that the firm was initially set up in 1997 by David and Alison from their garage at their home in Dalston. Things have certainly moved on from then. The firm now has a team of over 60 and this summer will see the completion of a new 3 story extension to the Dalmar House office. The firm’s reputation has been built up based on providing an outstanding service to clients and understanding their individual needs.

We would like to thank our clients for their support and look forward to the next 10 years.

Investors In People Award
In November we were delighted to retain our Investors in People award along with a glowing report from the assessor.

Here at David Allen & Co we realise that people are an organisations greatest asset and to be successful everyone has to perform well. People need the right knowledge, skills and motivation to work efficiently and with this in mind we have developed a comprehensive induction programme for all our new starters followed by continued support as individual’s progress in the firm.

This award reaffirms our continued commitment to our staff and we are of course very proud of this endorsement.

Pride Of Cumbria Awards 2006
In October 2006 the Pride of Cumbria Awards were held and two of our clients won awards.

Story Decorators Limited (pictured left) which has just relocated to Carlisle was crowned Cumbria’s Business of the Year and Employer of the Year.

The director Rob Story was awarded Leader of the Year. This is an excellent achievement for the company and reflects the great year which they have had.

Explosive Productions Limited (pictured right) were awarded the Business Start Up of the Year and they were delighted to have achieved so much in their first year.

They produce a variety of live shows to suit any occasion and these are at numerous venues across the country. The company has had an excellent year and this looks set to continue.
