David Allen & Co Chartered Accountants based in Dalston are continuing to build on their success with the appointment of three partners, Alison Cartner, Sandra Gowling and Jonathan Miller.

Alison Cartner has worked for David Allen & Co for 4 years and specialises in dealing with family businesses. She can provide invaluable planning advice to minimise tax liabilities and assist in maximising the potential of the business. Alison is keen to develop this further and ensure that each one receives practical advice and guidance specific to their circumstances.

Sandra Gowling heads up the Agricultural Business Team, which is a rapidly expanding area within the firm.  She has worked for the firm for 5 years and by building on her farming background she has a sound knowledge and understanding of the agricultural issues facing this industry. Sandra has built up excellent relationships within the local area and is ideally placed to help farmers.

Jonathan has recently joined the firm and is an experienced business advisor. He specialises in working with growth businesses and maximising their potential, which includes larger businesses requiring audits.  He also holds the ICAEW Diploma in Charity Accounting and specialises in this niche area. Jonathan sees his appointment as a great opportunity within this dynamic accountancy practice in Cumbria.
