David Allen & Co expand into West Cumbria
David Allen & Co, the Dalston based accountancy firm, opened their new offices at Workington on Monday 16 February. The office is at Prosper House, Guard Street Workington, which is close to the town centre and also has ample parking for customers.
It will be managed by Chartered Accountant, Mrs Fiona Thompson who lives at Bigrigg. Other staff include Sarah Farquhar from Cleator and Marc Green from Frances Croft, Workington.
The firm currently acts for lots of businesses in West Cumbria and this is a natural step in the firm’s progression. The thriving accountancy practice has always been ambitious and keen to expand. It also gives the firm the opportunity to attract new clients who are looking for a forward thinking, no nonsense accountant to work in partnership with their business.
David says “These are difficult times and it is really important that we are close to our clients. The opening of this new office is really exciting for our firm and we are also opening an office in Penrith shortly. We have had fantastic feedback from local businesses who are delighted we are moving into the area”.
David Allen & Co extended their Dalston based offices in October 2007 and with the new office at Workington open plus Penrith soon, it is clear the firm is moving in the right direction.
