On Saturday 24 March, Michael Peile and myself attended the AAT Achievement Ceremony at Carlisle Cathedral to see John Pinske and Fiona Steel receive their AAT certificates for completing the final stage of the AAT program. This means that they are now both members of the Association of Accounting Technicians and can proudly display their qualifications after their name.
This is only the second year that this ceremony has taken place and it proved to be a great success. Robin Liddell who is the president of the Institute of Financial Accountants presented the certificates to the students; David Mandle, Robin Brown and Tony Higgins from System Training were also part of the presentation.
Following the awards we all enjoyed a glass of champagne and canapés in the grounds of the Cathedral and the beautiful sunshine.
A great day was had by all, and well done to John and Fiona on their achievement.
