David Allen IT Solutions News have become the county’s first company to be approved to deliver advice and guidance under the Government's flagship online standard Cyber Essentials.
The Cyber Essentials scheme has been developed in order to provide clear guidelines around the basic controls organisations should put in place to mitigate against risks from common internet based threats.
Director of IT Solutions News David Arnold commented “We are really proud to be the first provider in Cumbria to deliver advice to businesses under the Cyber Essentials Scheme. Cyber attacks on businesses are on the increase with hackers looking to exploit and cash in on the sale of company data.
It can be devastating for a company to have a security breach and at David Allen IT Solutions News we are committed to protecting businesses’ data. The Cyber Essentials scheme will further enable us to keep our clients safe and secure.”
The accreditation has been awarded through Carlisle based QG Management Standards (one of only three accreditation bodies contracted to GCHQ, the Government Communication Headquarters).
As an accredited Cyber Essentials organisation we will assess your business' IT security according to the Cyber Essentials programme, and implement solutions to protect your business against cyber attacks.
If you want to ensure your business is protected to the Cyber Essentials standard, contact one of the team on 01228 711888 or email email@example.com.
