Earlier today, 6 February 2013, Jane and I attended the Britain's Energy Coast Business Cluster Members (BECBC) meeting.
The meeting was held in Energus at Lillyhall Industrial Estate at Workington which was a fantastic venue.
The event opened at 9am with time for networking and an exhibition of the Business Support Group members of the Business Cluster including a number of varying exhibitors such as H & H Reeds Printers, Burnetts Solicitors, Armitage Online, DMA Safety, mbi Office Furniture and ourselves.
The main members meeting began around 9.30am with introductions and a Regional Growth Fund Update presentation by Steve Szostak from Britain's Energy Coast (BEC). This was followed by a presentation from Innovus on commerciality. There was then a presentation from Rosehill Theatre in Whitehaven about its history and its planned renovations and expansion.
We then enjoyed a short coffee break and more networking with other members.
After the break, Emma-Jayne Gooch from NuExec Consulting presented her Consulting Salary Survey Results. We were then presented the new BECBC website (which was launched on 5 February 2013) with a thorough explanation by its creators Armitage Online. Finally by a brief feedback and presentation of the the BECBC Member Survey Results and any upcoming BECBC event.
