The British Accountancy Awards

Posted: August 11th, 2017

We are delighted to announce that David Allen has been shortlisted for ‘Independent Firm of the Year – Scotland, Northern Ireland and North England’ at this year’s British Accountancy Awards.

The British Accountancy Awards celebrate excellence in accounting and finance management and are regarded as the industry’s most prestigious accolades.  They pinpoint professional development and highlight those that have demonstrated excellence in their profession.

To be shortlisted for this award the judges reviewed four key elements including:

  • strategic planning
  • profitability / growth
  • professionalism
  • people / community

The winner from the six shortlisted will be awarded to the firm that demonstrates how it has added significant value to its clients and across all service areas as well as showing how the services it has provided have been fundamental in enabling their clients to achieve their business goals.

Kerrie Allison, Practice Manager said “I am pleased that David Allen has been recognised and shortlisted for this prestigious award which highlights how we work to build long lasting relationships with our clients that add real value.  We are passionate about each and every client we work with.  Their success is fundamental to our success and it is what we strive for every day.  On behalf of our team I would like to take this opportunity to thank the judging panel for shortlisting us and recognising our business values.  We would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate the further five shortlisted businesses in our category, Infinity Partnership, Rotherham Taylor Limited, Walker Begley Limited, Williamson & Croft LLP and Your Tax Shop and wish them all luck, although hopefully not too much luck for the evening!”

This year’s event will be held on 13 October at one of the most famous hotels in the world, London Hilton on Park Lane where more than 750 guests will be welcomed from practices all over the country.
