Purpose of role

To take responsibility for co-ordinating and managing the operation of the business to ensure a smooth and efficient service that meets the expectations and needs of our clients by effectively managing our business premises, administration, marketing and internal IT departments.

Duties to include:

  • Managing all David Allen properties to ensure a high standard of upkeep and maintenance is achieved by ensuring maintenance contracts are in place and adhered to.
  • Managing the internal IT function to ensure that all business systems are fit for purpose and that risk is appropriately managed.
  • Managing the administrative departments to ensure firm wide processes and procedures are being run efficiently and effectively and adhered to at all times.
  • Managing the marketing team to ensure that clear marketing strategies are developed and effective marketing activities and communication are achieved.
  • Working closely with the Management team in order to establish and maintain effective relationships, ensuring they are informed of any developments and achievements.
  • Providing support and assistance to other managers.
  • Ensuring high standards of client care are provided to clients at all times.
  • Establishing daily communication with your teams so that you are aware of the position that work is at and any issues which may arise.
  • Taking full responsibility for all work and tasks assigned to you.

Responsibilities and objectives

In your role you will ensure the following:

    Educated to degree level or experience of working at a managerial level within an organisation E
    At least 3 years’ experience in office and/or operarions management E
    Management qualification D

    Ability to work effectively under pressure and to motivate others to achieve the firm’s objectives. E
    Evidence of being a proactive and creative problem solver. E
    Ability to act as an ambassador for the group and represent the group at external events. E
