A corporate and audit specialist at David Allen has passed her Administration of Estates: England and Wales exam towards the STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) qualification.
Sarah Graves joined David Allen’s accountancy practice in 2004 as an Accounts Senior. Sarah joined the team from a local accountant where she was completing her AAT qualification and recognised David Allen as an opportunity for further career development.
Sarah started her training to become a Chartered Accountant in 2006 and passed all of the exams at the first sitting, qualifying in 2009. In 2012, Sarah obtained the Audit Qualification and completed the ICAEW International Standards on Auditing learning and assessment programme in 2014.
Sarah has worked with many of David Allen’s audit clients and has built fantastic relationships with them. They all speak very highly of her and value the support she provides.
In the last few years Sarah has been involved in and managed all of the trust and estate work carried out at David Allen. In order to build her technical expertise in this area, Sarah began studying for the STEP qualification and has now passed two exams, with a further two to go to complete the qualification.
Manging Partner Alison Welton was impressed with Sarah from the outset. She said: “I recognised that Sarah was very hard working and her dedication to develop and build her technical knowledge shone through.
“Sarah has worked alongside me for many years and I have seen how she has worked away to develop her technical knowledge particularly in audits and ensured that we comply with relevant auditing standards in all work that we do.”
Alison and the team at David Allen would like to say well done to Sarah and thank you for her continued hard work and support over the last 16 years.
