The David Allen IT Solutions team recently received a pin badge and sticker goodies from the British Computer Society (BCS) in celebration of a nomination.
Penrith Building Society, a client of the IT Solutions team, nominated them as ‘vITal workers’ for providing support to their team. IT Solutions have recently helped several of their employees to set up for remote working and continued to support those remaining in the office during these unprecedented times.
Elspeth James, Penrith Building Society Finance Director said: “None of this would have been possible without the amazing team at David Allen IT Solutions who moved us quickly to this new norm and continue to go above and beyond to keep our IT environment going.”
The British Computer Society are committed to supporting and championing IT professionals doing vital work to protect critical services and keep us connected. During lockdown they ran a new campaign, vITal workers, highlighting, recognising, and celebrating the incredible contribution that IT professionals are making during these unprecedented times.
David Arnold, Director of the David Allen IT Solutions business said: “We are very proud of our team who have all worked extremely hard during lockdown. They have ensured that all of our clients were able to work remotely, as well as maintaining all of their IT infrastructure. They have managed this whilst all working from home themselves, which goes to show that having the right IT infrastructure to support a flexible mobile workforce allows us to meet any challenge. Thank you to Penrith Building Society and the British Computer Society for the recognition.”
