End of support for Microsoft XP and Office 2003

Microsoft have announced that they will stop the support for Windows XP on 8 April 2014.  As of January 31, there are only 67 days before Windows XP support ends.

Microsoft says if a business has not began to address the issues of replacing Windows XP and Office 2003, then you’re late – but not too late.  With correct planning and testing, a suitable strategy can be implemented to replace the ageing software, ensuring you and your business are not affected.

It is vital that businesses prepare to move away from Windows XP.  Many newer software packages such as Sage simply will not run on the older computer software like Windows XP, this combined with the potential security risks presented by running out of “support software” mean that you must act now.

At David Allen IT Solutions we can help you on all aspects of IT including Windows XP.  If you would like to arrange a free initial meeting and discuss how we can help you call David Arnold on 01228 711888.
