The bi-annual Energy Business Opportunities Conference (eboc’13) took place last week at Energus, Lillyhall Workington.
Hosted by Britain’s Energy Coast Business Cluster (BECBC), the conference covered the whole range of energy development and an insight into the future of both renewable and non-renewable energy plus information on market opportunities, developments and trends.
There were a number of speakers over the two day conference each covering their own area of expertise and between the presentation sessions, delegates were able to tour the many exhibitor stands and network with other delegates and sponsors.
I was also delighted to be able to attend the networking dinner on the Tuesday evening at Hunday Manor Country House Hotel where again there was opportunity to network with other attendees while enjoying a delicious evening meal.
Eboc’13 gave participants the opportunity to raise awareness and showcase products and services, knowledge and skills to an audience of specialists, based not only in Cumbria but across the UK, Europe and beyond. It also gave members of Britain’s Energy Coast Business Cluster the chance to demonstrate why West Cumbria is a great place for investment and innovation.
