The Cumbria Community Foundation have funding available to people who have been affected by the recent Cumbrian floods. This funding is available to individuals, families and community organisations for charitable purposes who have been caused hardship, either directly or indirectly by the floods. Those whose homes have been flooded or have experienced significant structural damage are eligible for this funding as are individuals who have lost work or income due to the effects of the storm or flood.
The funding available comes from the generous donations of individuals and businesses from the foundation’s Cumbria Flood Appeal along with help from Cumbria Community Foundation.
Funding is usually available in amounts up to £500 initially, however maximum grants can be in the region of £500 – £1,000.
