The day started dull grey and wet, not a great start for David and Alison's annual Hog Roast, but by 2.00pm the sky was blue, the sun was shinning and it was glorious.
Nick Lawler from Whole Hog Hospitality provided us with the hog. Apparently he started cooking it at 2.00am in the morning and had set up his sleeping bag in his porch so he could tend to it. It was absolutely gorgeous, and that's coming from someone who doesn't like pork. I'm definitely converted now.
A big thank you to everyone who brought delicious salads and deserts that were to die for and second helpings were the order of the day.
The children and adults were kept entertained by the inflatable's. Proving most popular was the bungee pull and the inflatable obstacle course, which the men become very competitive about.
Everyone had a fantastic day and we are all looking forward to next year's Hog Roast.
