On Thursday 19 February Hopes Auction Company held their annual Spring Showcase. Although the weather was not spring-like at all it didn’t stop local agricultural businesses turning out to display their products and services.
At David Allen we believe in getting out of the office to visit our clients and love the chance to catch up in an informal atmosphere and the Showcase was perfect for this.
As well as the trade stands on display there was a selection of machinery on show as well as a show and sale of dairy cattle and calves. There was also an industrial section for fresh produce where the bakers of the farming community could also show off their talents.
Anybody under the age of 26 was invited to take part in a Young Farmers stock judging competition and I was thrilled to take part in judging a class of prime lambs and dairy.
The Showcase was a fantastic display of local businesses and livestock and had a great turn out of attendees. Well done to all the Hopes staff and exhibitors for making the event such a success.
The David Allen team pop along to the weekly sales at Hopes Auction so look out for us in our booth and come in for a cuppa and a chat.
