David Allen IT Solutions are proud to be supporting Carlisle Reivers under-12s girls football team.

The Carlisle Glass Longhorn Youth League season is set to re-start in October and the girls’ first match will be Sunday 11 October where they will be playing against Stanwix Juniors.

Gary Martin, David Allen IT Solutions Director said:  “We are looking forward to supporting Carlisle Reivers under-12s girls’ team and watching their progress this season.

“As a local leading IT Service provider, with apprenticeships in IT, we are committed to nurturing talent and encouraging young people to reach their full potential.  We are proud to have been given the opportunity to sponsor the girls and wish them the best of luck for the season ahead.”

The team were able to return to outdoor training in September following six months off due to government restrictions.

Katie Wilson (Age 10) said:  “It’s great to be back training.  I have really missed seeing my teammates.  The training is going really well and we are looking forward to playing and winning some matches!”

Following a few friendly matches with local teams the Reivers are looking forward to the start of the new season.

James Kendall, Director of Football Development at the FA, said:  “We’re delighted that the government has given the go-ahead for competitive grassroots football to return.  The past few months have been some of the most challenging times not just for football, but across society.”
