The Blacksmith’s Restaurant at Bigrigg near Egremont is well worth a visit if you are looking for a tasty meal and they now have meeting rooms for hire at the Blacksmith Business Centre.
This is where I was last night when I attended the Britain’s Energy Coast Business Cluster – Making an Impact workshop.
We were greeted at the event by Liz Bowe from PacTec Eps Ltd then entertained by Tracey Errington from Market Sense and Sally Seed from Stoneleigh Communications.
The aim of the training workshop was to offer plenty of hints, tips and ideas about getting the most from networking; presentation skills and how you can make your presentation more effective and they also described ways to build your confidence and stop your inner voice holding you back.
The session was interactive and fun and we were treated at the end to a delicious supper, courtesy of the Blacksmith’s Restaurant.
All in all a very enjoyable evening and we all went away with a strategy and some clear ideas on building self-confidence and developing connections.
