With a Budget due to be announced by the Chancellor Rishi Sunak tomorrow (Wednesday 8 July), our team of experts will be reviewing the content and providing an insight into what this might mean for our clients.
The Budget is being billed as a ‘fiscal event’ and is an opportunity to help the economy move forward after the coronavirus pandemic, and there has been much speculation about VAT, stamp duty and job creation schemes, with help for specific sectors.
Our team will be following the Budget closely and considering the impact it might have in the short and long term, looking at the repercussions for small and large companies, the self-employed, and individuals who have pensions, investments and mortgages, amongst others.
