After achieving a First Class Honours degree in Mathematics at the University of Central Lancashire, I decided to join a local accountancy firm to develop my interest in business and finance. Three years later, in 2010, I qualified as a Chartered Accountant.
I have experience of working with a wide variety of clients, from sole traders to large businesses. I have also worked as a client relationship manager for seven years, this role allowed me to understand the client journey and the service they should receive. Getting to know my clients is therefore something that I strive to do, allowing me to understand their needs and goals which in turn enables me to provide the best advice to them.
I specialise in small and medium enterprises, family businesses, Ltd companies and sole traders with particular skills in; accounts preparation, personal tax, VAT preparation, pre year end tax planning, business advice and grant funding support.
A friendly and personal approach is my main aim, ensuring my clients feel at ease. I enjoy problem solving, learning about a client’s business and helping them achieve their goals.
Clients say I am friendly, approachable, honest, knowledgeable and pro-active.
