I joined David Allen in 2018 while completing a foundation degree in IT at Carlisle College.
My main skill is troubleshooting of everyday computer issues but I specialise in management of our Endpoint security product and our VOIP phone system.
In IT, some issues can be difficult to resolve and hard to describe to a client, my main focus is getting the issue resolved and the client having as little downtime as possible!
I enjoy creating relationships with our clients, learning about them and their job role often helps me with my job too.
My greatest professional achievement so far is leading a migration to new Remote Monitoring and Management tool that allows us to monitor and manage 2100 of our client’s endpoints with greater efficiency and accuracy. I created a plan that allowed all members of the team to join in for certain tasks without needing to be fully briefed on the project. This meant the entire migration was smooth and efficient. I estimated six weeks to complete it, but we did it in four!
