I’ve been working in IT since leaving college and my first IT job was working at Mamas & Papas Headquarters in Huddersfield, deploying Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) Systems and providing IT training to staff in their stores. In 2002 I moved back to Carlisle to start an IT support role at Cumbrian Newspapers where I stayed for eighteen years. I then joined David Allen IT Solutions in 2019.
I’ve worked with numerous systems and software packages throughout my career, some good, some bad, however the key is staff training and providing quality support. Patience is essential and I’m passionate about providing great customer service to everyone we have contact with. IT can be infuriating!
As IT technicians, we all have different strengths and experiences, combined, we make a strong team and can provide support to any client in any sector. We always go above and beyond when needed and our testimonials from existing clients confirm this.
I particularly enjoy the variety of clients we have. Having been in the newspaper industry for 18 years it’s exciting dealing with a diverse client base. One minute I’m working in a car garage and the next I can be supporting an award-winning restaurant.
