Emily joined the David Allen team as an Accounts Assistant in October 2017. After gaining an Honours degree in Forensic Science and Accounting from Keele University in 2012, she took a year out to travel and work in Australia.
On her return to Cumbria, Emily worked as a National Planning Manager for a logistics training company, working with many large clients such as the MOD and ASDA to organise their national logistic training requirements.
Emily brings with her many years of experience, she gained her PRINCE 2 Foundation and Practitioner qualification in her previous role to assist with project management and it was here she realised she wanted to pursue a career in accountancy and jumped at the chance to join the David Allen team.
In her role, Emily will be working with a wide range of clients across a number of entities preparing financial accounts and VAT returns. As well as completing her day to day tasks, Emily aspires to achieve her professional qualification to become a Chartered Accountant.
Emily lives in Carlisle with her husband Mike and their dog Rosco. In her spare time she is always up for a challenge and enjoys bouldering, as well as taking her dog out on the fells for a walk.
