Sheryl Dobson

Training and Development Manager

Sheryl is our Training and Development Manager and joined David Allen in February 2011.  After she left school, she completed an NVQ Level 3 in Business and Administration.  She then went on to pursue a career as a Duty Manager of Human Resources dealing predominantly with payroll.

Sheryl joined us as an Accounts Assistant and in this role gained her AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification.  Since then she has progressed and climbed the career ladder performing different roles as an Accounts Senior and more recently Accounts Supervisor.

As our Training and Development Manager Sheryl takes full responsibility for the development of our trainees, ensuring that each individual is supported in their learning through a structured training programme, one to one coaching and group training sessions.  Her role is crucial to ensuring any new starters are given the best possible start to their career with us, learning and embedding the basics of accounting standards while understanding the David Allen culture of delivering an exceptional level of service to clients.

Sheryl lives in Wigton with her partner Tom.  In her spare time she enjoys socialising with friends and family and shopping.
