From Tax Administration Assistant to Trainee Paraplanner
I started my #TeamDA journey in the Tax Department as an Administration Assistant where I completed my Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship qualification.
Our Financial Services team were having a busy period and asked me to help them out. I have not looked back; I am now a full-time member of their team and currently working towards my Certificate in Paraplanning.
I have received amazing levels of training in both departments I have worked in and I would never have been able to get to where I am now without the support of my colleagues. Financial Advisor Neil Edmondson and I go through my study notes and discuss areas that I would like to understand better. I also have one to one training sessions with Ashleigh Williams who is a fully qualified paraplanner with lots of experience. I have also been given the opportunity to attend client meetings and work with Hayley Towlson, our protection adviser, which is helping me increase my understanding of what happens in other areas of the industry.

In five years’, time, I would love to be a fully qualified paraplanner. David Allen can help me by continuing to support me through my exams and giving me more opportunities to learn.
