On Thursday 25 February, David Allen, Michael Peile and I attended an evening reception of Working for Business and Agriculture with the Cumberland Show at Lloyds Motors at Rosehill in Carlisle.
Lloyds had kindly opened up the business premises of their newly extended and refurbished prestigious Jaguar and Land Rover showroom for the evening, which offer an impressive and welcoming bright and modern environment.
Throughout the evening we were treated to a delicious selection of canapés while having the opportunity to meet and talk to other previous and potential business sponsors and supporters of the show.
Robert Wharton, chairman of the Cumberland Show gave a speech about the upcoming show and its future, including what business opportunities are available to those supporting and working with the show. As always we will be involved in this year’s event as one of the main sponsors and look forward to enjoying a fantastic day for all the family, showcasing the very best that the county has to offer. The only thing we can’t guarantee is the Cumbrian weather!
We would like to thank the Cumberland Show committee and Lloyd Motors for a wonderful evening and wish them the very best of luck for this year’s show.
