I joined David Allen in 2001 as a member of their payroll department. I was asked to help the accounts team when they were busy, and that was me hooked. I was then given the opportunity to complete my Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification and also an ILM Level 3 Diploma in Management.
Before joining David Allen I worked for the COOP group, where I ran the payroll for the Wigton team as well as the cash office, this started my passion for working with figures.
I wanted to join David Allen as they were a local firm that had a great reputation and I also knew a few people who worked there who also confirmed it was a good place to work. David Allen stands out from other local firms.
Managing staff and working with clients is very rewarding, I enjoy the feeling of knowing that I have helped someone. Helping a member of staff achieve in their job role and helping a client with their business is important to me.
I have experience in payroll, accounts and VAT preparation.
