Our engineer Daniel Russell, Project Owner and Michael Ferguson, Project Support worked with senior members of staff from the Tullie House team to plan, design and implement this solution, whilst ensuring that the impact to the staff was as undisruptive as possible, particularly for the front desk team.
The work involved:
Creating the users on the new Gamma Horizon phone system
Assigning the users to each handset
Updating the firmware of each handset
Matching the current extension and direct dial from the previous system
Ensuring a dedicated VoIP network was available for the new devices
Ensuring the Cisco switches would work with the new devices
Migration and porting of the existing telephone numbers from the previous providers
