YFC Northern District Field Day 2026

The Cumbria Young Farmers Field Day brings together members to celebrate rural skills, teamwork and agricultural tradition.  The day features a wide range of competitions, including sheep shearing, machine handling, woodwork, tug of war and obstacle courses, alongside creative classes such as baking and crafts.  With local food and ice cream vendors also in attendance, the event offers something for everyone while showcasing the talent and community spirit of young people across Cumbria.

Dalston Tractor Run 2026

We are proud to sponsor this year’s Dalston Tractor Run, celebrating farming heritage, where a convoy of vintage and modern tractors travels through the local area alongside classic vehicles.

It’s a family friendly day that brings the community together while raising money for Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice, creating a great atmosphere for both participants and spectators.

Lesmahagow Show 2026

Watchtree 10k run 2026

A competitive scenic charity run, held at Watchtree Nature Reserve, brings runners together to raise funds in support of Watchtree’s conservation and community work.  The event offers a route through the reserve’s natural landscapes and is open to runners looking to take part in a well organised, purpose led 10 kilometre event.

LiveScot 2026

Organised by the Scottish National Fat Stock Club, this event celebrates the very best of Scottish agriculture. The show will feature pedigree calf and lamb classes, alongside the Lanarkshire Young Farmers’ Calf Rally, with the main commercial cattle classes taking place on Saturday. With strong youth involvement and a wider programme of livestock competitions, crafts, demonstrations and trade stands, the event showcases prime beef, lamb and native breeds from across the UK.
