I joined David Allen in 2017 having completed a four-year BA (Hons) Accountancy Degree at Glasgow Caledonian University.
I manage our Dumfries office and I have built a reputable team of hard-working individuals; we were recently recognised for our ambition to keep Dumfries and Galloway updated throughout the Coronavirus pandemic.
I have a straight talking and proactive attitude towards my work, always striving to ensure I am trained in the most up to date software or changes in legislation. I specialise in accounting software, working daily with Xero, Quickbooks and Sage.
I am passionate in helping people build and better their businesses and achieve their goals. I pride myself on always being available for my clients and look to build a long term relationship providing all round practical advice.
Outside of work, I am a director and company secretary of RHET Dumfries and Galloway Countryside Initiative and I am also the treasurer of Dumfries Cornets Club. Being a farmer’s daughter, I am well connected in the agricultural sector and when time allows me, I help my Dad on the family farm.
I am currently studying for my professional qualification to become a Chartered Accountant.
