Bryony Thomson

I joined David Allen in April 2021 to develop new skills that would help build my future career in accountancy.  One of the main reasons I was drawn to the firm initially was the wide range of opportunities for learning and growth.  I knew I wanted to continue my education, expand my skillset, and challenge myself, and David Allen has supported me every step of the way, especially in helping me achieve my AAT Level 4 qualification.

Since my first day, the team have made me feel extremely welcome, showing a friendly and caring attitude.  Stepping into a role that was completely new to me could have been daunting, but the guidance and encouragement I have received have been exceptional, and I am incredibly grateful for it.

Outside of work, I enjoy taking on personal challenges.  In 2023, I took part in the Great North Run half marathon, which was a great experience, and I was delighted to raise £500 for Carlisle Youth Zone, an organisation that does brilliant work for young people in the community.
