After spending four years in administration within the health board, I felt ready for a new challenge, and that is when I discovered the opportunity at David Allen.  My career began in the administration industry as an account handler at a local insurance broker, where I managed my own portfolio of client policy renewals and even covered reception duties.  That experience sparked my passion for client focused roles, and I knew I wanted to return to that kind of work one day.

Now, as a Business Administrator, I thrive on the variety and personal interaction this role offers.  No two days are the same, and I find real fulfillment in helping clients and making a difference where I can as well as being the first person they interact with when visiting the Dumfries office and over the phone.  One of the things that drew me to David Allen was the firm’s strong commitment to employee development, it is inspiring to be part of a company that invests in its people.

Outside the office, I love exploring the beautiful forests around Dumfries and Galloway on long walks, and I’m always up for a trip to the cinema to catch the latest films.
