David Noble

After gaining early experience in accountancy, I decided to return to my studies independently and work towards my AAT qualifications at Carlisle College. I joined David Allen in April 2024 as an Accounts Assistant, and from my very first day, I knew it was the right place for me. I was attracted to the firm’s modern, forward-thinking approach, particularly its use of the latest accounting software to deliver an efficient and proactive service. This allows me to make the most of my skills, from processing VAT returns and preparing accounts to advising clients on Xero, QuickBooks and Dext. Since joining I have completed my AAT Levels 2 and 3 and am now working towards Level 4, with plans to take my final exams in the coming months.

Based in our Penrith office, I am fortunate to work with a supportive and collaborative team. Everyone is willing to share knowledge, help with queries and work together to achieve the best results for our clients. The positive atmosphere and strong teamwork make it a great place to learn and grow.

Away from the office, I’m a keen sports fan and enjoy travelling to watch football matches at different stadiums across the UK. I also play pool competitively, captaining a local pub league team in Penrith and competing in singles leagues and tournaments, with ambitions to one day represent the county.
