Hannah Mustoe

After relocating from my home county of Cornwall to Telford, I wanted to build a career that offered long term opportunities, variety and the chance to keep learning.  Before moving into accountancy, I worked in equity release, where I gained valuable experience supporting clients with important financial decisions linked to their future plans and personal goals.  That role helped me understand how important it is to listen carefully, communicate clearly and take the time to understand what matters most to each client.  Whether clients were looking to support their family, improve their quality of life or plan for later years, I enjoyed being part of a process that helped them make informed decisions with confidence.

I began my accounting career working for a smaller firm, where I gained hands on experience and developed a strong understanding of the importance of client relationships.  Working in that environment allowed me to learn quickly, take on a variety of tasks and see how valuable clear communication, attention to detail and a personal approach are when supporting clients.

I have a degree in English Language from Swansea University and am currently working towards my Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification.  I have always enjoyed learning and pushing myself, and my academic background has helped me develop strong communication skills, which I now use every day in my role.

Since joining David Allen, I have really enjoyed being part of a supportive and knowledgeable team.  I enjoy meeting new people, visiting different locations and learning more about the businesses we support.  Every day gives me the chance to build my experience, work closely with clients and continue developing my knowledge.

I am determined to keep growing my career and to do the best I can for the clients I work with.  David Allen has given me the opportunity to learn in a practical, hands-on environment, surrounded by people who are willing to share their knowledge and support my progression.
