Jack Ganley

I joined David Allen as an Accounts Assistant following completing my degree in Political Science from Princeton University, in America.  My degree focus was very quantitative, using mathematics and programming to help solve real world policy problems.  When I began looking into accountancy as a profession, I saw many similarities.  I enjoy working through challenging problems that have a real impact on people, businesses and communities so I chose to look for an opportunity to study toward my Chartered Accountant qualification.

Growing up in Cumbria, it was important to me to build a career with a firm that supports local businesses and plays an active role in the community.  That is what attracted me to David Allen.  The opportunity to gain real world experience, learn from our supportive team and see the bigger picture of how accountancy helps our clients has been a great starting point for my career.

Throughout my development in my role, our team have been incredibly supportive, particularly with my training and development.  I am looking forward to continuing to grow, taking opportunities as they come, becoming Chartered and expanding my role and responsibilities within David Allen.
