Jack Hetherington

I joined David Allen as an Accounts Assistant after graduating from Durham University with a degree in Accounting and Finance.  I am currently studying towards my Chartered Accountant (ACA) qualification and enjoy combining my studies with practical experience, developing my knowledge and skills while supporting clients with their financial affairs.

Having grown up in Cumbria, I am pleased to be building my career locally with a firm that is committed to supporting professional development.  Every day brings new opportunities to learn, and I enjoy gaining experience across a variety of clients and industries as I continue to progress towards qualification.

What I enjoy most about my role is developing my understanding of accountancy in a real world environment and working alongside knowledgeable colleagues who are always willing to share their experience and support my development.  I am excited to see where my career will take me and look forward to embracing the opportunities that lie ahead.

Outside of work, I enjoy travelling and exploring different cultures.  Experiencing new places and seeing how people live around the world has broadened my perspective and is something I am passionate about continuing in the future.
