Jamie Armstrong

As part of the Accounts team at David Allen I am responsible for drafting and delivering accounts and preparing VAT returns, but what truly drives me is ensuring each and every one of our clients receives the very best service and experience.

Learning and development are values I really believe in, and I am incredibly proud of how far I have come at David Allen.  Since joining the Accountancy team I have successfully passed all my exams on the first attempt and recently achieved my Level 3 AAT qualification, which would not have been possible without my team’s generous support, mentoring and encouragement. I am now studying towards my Level 4 AAT , with my sights set on gaining as much experience as possible and advancing my career and contributing to the growth of the organisation.

What first attracted me to #TeamDA was our widespread reputation and the genuine impact we have on the local community.  I have seen first-hand the dedication and passion that each team brings to their work.   It is inspiring to be part of an organisation that collectively goes above and beyond for our clients, and I strive to do the same, always staying professional, approachable and committed to excellence.

When not at my desk I am all about sports and staying active.  Each week I train in Muay Thai, play football and squeeze in a round of golf whenever I can.  Spending time with family and friends is just as important to me, and I always aim for a great balance between work, training and personal life.
