In our Payroll department, we listen, adapt and embrace new challenges every day.  Working alongside experienced Payroll Advisers creates an environment where each person can excel in their own role whilst contributing to the wider success of the team.  Having worked in Accountancy and Payroll for nearly 20 years, joining David Allen as Payroll Manager was the natural next step for me.  I wanted to be part of a team that values respect, professionalism and personal growth.

My role involves managing our Payroll team and overseeing the day to day payroll processes for our clients.  We provide payroll support, respond to payroll queries and ensure every payroll is completed accurately, compliantly and on time.  We support businesses who choose to outsource payroll to us by keeping clients fully informed of the latest PAYE for employers requirements, National Insurance contributions and National wage changes, and by handling compliant reporting and payments to HMRC, along with many other aspects of the payroll function.

I am proud to work in a team with expertise across leading payroll software, including Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, Earnie and Payrite.  Together, we are well placed to support the continued growth of our Payroll Dumfries and Payroll Cumbria teams and to deliver trusted payroll services across Cumbria and South West Scotland.
I am based primarily in the Dumfries office, but away from work I am a busy mum of three and enjoy spending time at home with my family.
