Jennifer Cooper

My career in accounting began 15 years ago, during which I have developed a strong foundation of skills and expertise across the sector.  After relocating from Manchester to Penrith, I saw this as the perfect opportunity to join David Allen, a business that genuinely values growth, development and new opportunities, which aligns closely with my own ambitions and desire to continue progressing professionally.

In my current role, I prepare VAT returns and accounts for a diverse range of business enterprises.  The team here are incredibly welcoming and have been supportive since day one, creating an environment where learning is encouraged and knowledge is shared.  I am given the opportunity to build on my existing experience, develop new skills and broaden my understanding, while always maintaining a strong focus on delivering a high standard of client care.  I take pride in providing work that is accurate, clear and timely, helping clients feel supported and confident in their financial position.

Outside of work, I am a highly creative person and enjoy painting in my spare time, which provides a great balance to my professional life and allows me to approach my work with fresh perspective and attention to detail.
