Joey Wright

Technology has always interested me, but what I enjoy most is using it to help people.  In my role as an IT Technician, I enjoy the variety that every day brings.  Whether it is fixing technical issues, supporting colleagues with their systems or finding solutions that help people work more efficiently, I take pride in making technology as accessible and reliable as possible.  I particularly enjoy the challenge of solving problems and the satisfaction that comes from knowing I have helped someone overcome an issue and get back to what they do best.

Alongside David Allen’s friendly and welcoming nature, I was inspired by the work the firm does to support the local community and wanted to be part of an organisation that makes a positive difference both for its clients and the wider area.

One of the things I value most is being part of a supportive team.  I believe strong relationships and good communication are just as important as technical knowledge and I enjoy working closely with colleagues across the business to provide the best possible support.  For me, job satisfaction comes from helping others, working alongside great people and continually learning new skills.  As long as I can make a positive difference and be part of a supportive team, I am happy.

Outside of work, I play football, which has helped me develop skills that carry over into my career, including teamwork, focus and staying calm under pressure.  It has taught me the importance of working together towards a common goal and adapting quickly when situations change.
