Josh Jackson

I am a Tax Assistant currently working towards my Associate of Tax (ATT) Level 4 qualification.  My role involves applying analytical skills to tasks such as reviewing client information and preparing tax returns.  Lately, I have found particular satisfaction in completing tax returns, as it is rewarding to use these skills to support clients and see a positive impact of my work.  At school, I particularly enjoyed Business Studies, it was through this that I came to appreciate the vital role tax plays in the modern world, which ultimately inspired me to pursue a career as a Tax Assistant.

During my work experience at David Allen, I was inspired by the staff’s positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for their roles.  Their warm and welcoming nature made a lasting impression and played a key part in my decision to apply.  Since joining, I have felt supported and encouraged, which has helped me grow both professionally and personally.  In the future, I would like to continue to develop my knowledge in tax and progress towards a higher qualification.

I am proud to say that I participated in the Santa Sleigh charity event at David Allen which was rewarding to be a part of enabling us to raise money for a great cause.  Away from the office, I love to stay active, especially paddleboarding in summer.  It is a great way to unwind, stay fit, and recharge for the week ahead.
