Joshua Nichol

My interest in accountancy began during my year at the City of Glasgow college, where I earned a Higher National Certificate qualification.  That experience confirmed my desire to pursue a career in finance, and I felt that working towards an AAT qualification within a professional environment was the ideal next step.  I was first drawn to David Allen because of our strong commitment to helping career growth through quality training and continued support.  In my role as an Accounts Assistant Apprentice at David Allen, I prepare and draft VAT returns and manage accounts, ensuring every client receives a service that not only meets their needs but exceeds expectations.  I thoroughly enjoy preparing accounts and seeing first hand how this helps businesses grow further.

My long-term goal is to become a fully qualified accountant and build a successful career at David Allen Chartered Accountants.  Outside of work, I maintain a healthy routine by running in different locations as often as possible.  It helps me clear my mind, stay focused, and perform at my best both personally and professionally.
