Our values at David Allen really resonated with me, the supportive culture, commitment to clients and strong reputation made it a place where I could see myself developing both personally and professionally while building a long term career.  After studying Science at college, I quickly realised it was not the career path for me and began exploring other options that better suited my interests and strengths.  Having always enjoyed maths and problem solving, Accounting stood out as a profession that offered both challenge and opportunity and after researching the industry further, I knew it was something I wanted to pursue.

I am currently studying to become a qualified Accountant and enjoy expanding my knowledge and understanding of accounting.  I find it rewarding to learn new skills and apply them in a practical environment, while gaining valuable experience from the wider team around me.  I am excited to continue developing my skills, gaining more experience within the profession and building a successful career in accountancy while supporting both clients and colleagues along the way.

When not in the office, I enjoy spending time in the Lake District, whether that is wild swimming, walking or taking on a new challenge in the fells.  One of my future goals is to complete the Three Peaks Challenge with #TeamDA, with Scafell Pike already under my belt.  These experiences have taught me determination, resilience and the value of setting goals and working hard to achieve them.
