Luke Marsden

After completing a Business course at college, I was keen to begin my career in accountancy and put my knowledge into practice in a professional environment. I joined David Allen in early 2024 as an Accounts Assistant, supporting the Traders team with the preparation of accounts for sole traders and partnerships while developing my technical knowledge and practical experience.

Working with a wide variety of clients has given me valuable insight into how different businesses operate and has strengthened my understanding of accounting processes. I enjoy the challenge of learning new skills, taking on new responsibilities and building my confidence as I continue to develop within the profession.

One of the things I value most about working at David Allen is the strong team culture. Everyone is willing to support one another, share knowledge and work collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes for clients. Having access to experienced colleagues and a supportive environment has helped me settle into my role, grow in confidence and continue building my skills.

I am excited to continue developing my accountancy knowledge, broaden my experience across different areas of the business and take advantage of future training and professional development opportunities as I build my career with David Allen
