Rosie Walker

As an Accounts Assistant in the agricultural specialists at David Allen, I draft and prepare accounts and VAT returns for sole traders, but what matters most to me is that I do my best to ensure accuracy and compliancy for all our clients.  My passion for accounts began at school, where maths was always my favourite subject.  Farming has also played a significant role in my life and I knew I wanted to find a way to combine my interests.  Working at David Allen has provided the perfect opportunity to pursue my Level 3 Associates of Accountancy Qualification, which I am currently working towards.

I first connected with David Allen through work experience and it quickly became clear that I wanted to be part of a business where everyone is welcoming, supportive, and genuinely passionate about their work.  Within my team, there is a strong sense of collaboration, everyone is willing to help one another and tackle challenges together.  That spirit inspires me to offer the same level of support to our clients.

Beyond work, I have always been a part of Young Farmers where I made life long friends and so many memories.  One of my proudest achievements was reaching the Nationals in a tug of war competition.  That experience taught me the value of perseverance, teamwork, and pushing myself to be the best version of myself, qualities I bring to both my role in our agricultural accounts team and the clients we serve.
