Vicky Short

I am an Accounts Assistant based in David Allen’s Workington office, where I work mainly with sole traders and partnerships.

My role includes preparing accounts, supporting clients with VAT returns and helping with day-to-day queries.  Client support is a big part of what I do, and I enjoy building strong relationships with the people and businesses I work with.

One of the things I enjoy most about my role is the variety.  I work with clients across different industries and from areas including Workington, Whitehaven and Cockermouth.  No two clients are the same, and I enjoy learning about their businesses and supporting them with the information they need.

Being part of the David Allen team gives me the opportunity to work alongside experienced colleagues and continue developing my knowledge.  I enjoy being part of a supportive team where we work together to provide a high standard of service to our clients.
